All He is waiting for is us to be filled with compassion when we see a need, and to pray with faith, calling on him to change the situation.

What do you love about the city you live in? The one thing I love about Liverpool is there is nowhere like it in the UK, it’s almost like a country in itself, the culture is so different from anywhere in the UK. Here in Liverpool it is all about, family, community and a “we are all in it together” mentality….and I love that!
What is your favourite scripture and why? My Favourite scripture is Jeremiah 29:11, a well know scripture but it means so much to me. I remember when I had walked away from the lord in my early 20’s, all I wanted to do or be was a police officer. I went for training days and did all the exams but I kept failing every test and exam I did. One evening after shouting at my parents with frustration that I failed so many tests and after receiving a letter from the police saying “give up you’ll never get into the force”, I remember being in my bedroom crying feeling like all my dreams had been shattered. Then all of a sudden, a little note was slipped under my bedroom door by my father and all it had written on it was:
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you,” declares the Lord”In that moment I felt hope again and when things get hard this verse keeps me going.
What is your dream holiday destination on earth or otherwise? My dream holiday would be to climb to the top of Everest!
What 3 items do you always pack when you go on mission? I’ve only been on two mission trips but you always have to have a pack couple of packs of Haribo to keep you going!

Jesus has shown us that he doesn’t give up. He stands firm on His word and will not be shaken! He never goes back on what he has said!
You are a light that is shining so brightly, so brightly you don’t even realise!!
When reading this verse something struck me for the first time in a big way. Jesus trusts me!
Have you ever stopped and thought, “I might be the only Jesus people may meet today?” This week let’s aim to be Jesus to those who have never seen Him before by loving those around us, and out of that let’s see people open up to Jesus.
This week we read about Peter saying he will never reject Jesus, Peter rejecting Jesus, finally Peter giving the first public message after Jesus’ return.
